The Niagara Prosperity Initiative was established by Niagara Region in 2008, and provides an annual investment of $1.5 million to support poverty reduction and prevention activities. Using a research-based approach to address the root causes of poverty, the Niagara Prosperity Initiative allocates resources where they will have the greatest effect.
Proposals are invited from the community for projects that will provide an effective service to address poverty at a neighbourhood level for residents of the Niagara region.
2019 Niagara Prosperity Initiative Request for Proposals (RFP) will open February 4- March 1, 2019.
